TEAM NEWS: New Sponsor for No. 40 Team at Kansas
It will be the #40 WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM Chevrolet Silverado that will roll out onto the Kansas Speedway later this month when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series resumes its 2008 race schedule with the running of the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 on Saturday, April 26. Key Motorsports has inked a partnership with the Shawnee, Kansas-based vehicle wraps/large format printing company for the 2008 and 2009 racing seasons that will begin with the Kansas truck event. The company specializes in custom designed and printed vehicle wraps and also prints custom banners, canvas portraits and large format objects such as posters, billboards and picture enlargements. WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM will serve as sponsor of various Key Motorsports race vehicles in varying degrees beginning with the NCTS race at the track closest to the company's corporate headquarters. The #40 Key Motorsports race truck, to be driven by Chad Chaffin, will feature a special wrap from WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM in hopes of attracting attention to its workmanship and quality that can lead to added business for the company from within the NASCAR motorsports community. "Getting involved as a sponsor of a NASCAR team is a bold move for our company, but we believe that it is the right move that will help brand the company, promote our business nationally and help grow our franchise numbers. It will also allow us to have some fun," said company founder Jamie Ireland. "We are excited with the opportunity that Key Motorsports has presented to us, and working with the organization on both the NASCAR Craftsman Truck and Nationwide Series circuits gives us the opportunity of securing exposure in front of teams in two divisions of NASCAR but with the same team. We're excited," Ireland added. There are several WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM franchise locations currently operating in markets throughout the U.S., and Ireland's company will follow up its entitlement sponsorship of the #40 WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM Chevrolet Silverado in Kansas by duplicating the effort at a another race on the 2008 NCTS schedule. The company will soon be opening a new shop in Mooresville, NC to service the Charlotte area and NASCAR market. In addition to its commitment to Key Motorsports for sponsorship support of the team's Craftsman Trucks, WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM will provide major associate sponsorship support of the Key Motorsports #31 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when it makes its 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series season debut at the Richmond International Raceway on Friday night, May 2. Additional support events will be announced in the near future. "We are thrilled that WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPS.COM has seen fit to partner with our racing organization and to allow us to assist them in their growth throughout the United States," said team owner Curtis W. Key, Sr. "They offer a spectacular product in their vehicle wraps, and we feel confident that when other teams see their work and quality, that WRAPITUPVEHICLEWRAPSCOM will be able to acquire new business to justify the expense the company has made with our race team. We want to see them succeed," Key added.
