Timothy Peters is ready race the "Paperclip" with a fast truck underneath him, and he looks forward to racing against some of the toughest drivers in the business. Peters, a up and coming driver from Danville, VA will make his 2008 Craftsman Truck Series debut in Martinsville driving the #47 Tahoe Smokeless Tobacco Chevrolet.

"I feel like I could have rushed building this truck and competed earlier this season, but I wanted to make sure that we tested properly, and that I had good people in place for the upcoming races."

The patience has so far paid dividends, Peters was near the top of the board in both days of testing in Martinsville (5th on 1st day, and 6th on 2nd). In addition, Timothy has secured the services of top caliber crew chief Danny Gill for Martinsville and several upcoming races this season.

"I am really super appreciative of all the people that have stepped up to help me this season without people like the Bailey Family, Danny Gill, Eric Phillips and the guys from my hometown I would not have a chance against these truck regulars, but I really believe that I will have something for them at the drop of the green flag on Saturday."

Peters competed last year for the #47 team at Martinsville finishing 9th after qualifying 8th for the event.
