Wood Brothers Racing drivers Jon and Keven Wood spent Wednesday and Thursday testing the no. 21 Ford F-150 at Martinsville Speedway.

The team unloaded the truck Wednesday morning and steadily made improvements to it through the first test session.  By the afternoon, the team had the truck running well and Jon finished the day fourth fastest. Keven Wood used the track time to dial in the back up race truck and gain valuable seat time as Jon ran in the primary truck that will be used in the Martinsville race at the end of the month.

During the Thursday morning session the #21 Wood Brothers Racing crew and Ford engineers focused on trying different setups.  They gained a lot of insight on how changes affected the car.  During the afternoon and final practice session they used the information garnered from the morning's session to try a variety of successful setups. Jon finished Thursday's afternoon test with the ninth fastest time stating that the team has their short track program headed in the right direction.

The team left the two day test session feeling optimistic as they look for a solid finish when they return to Martinsville Speedway to race on March 29, 2008.
