WHITE: Homecoming for Atlanta Sponsor
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Driver, Jason White is looking forward to
racing in his primary sponsor's hometown this Friday night. White will pilot the
no.08 GunBroker.com Dodge in the American Commercial Lines 200 race at Atlanta
Motor Speedway. White was in the SS-Green Light Racing shop on Monday helping
the crew make final preparations to the truck and gearing up to race on one of
his favorite tracks. The team tested at Atlanta Motor Speedway back in January
and hope to use those notes to come out of the event with a solid finish.
"It's going to be great to race in the hometown of GunBroker.com," said White.
"They are such a great group of people. I'm glad we race in Atlanta twice this
year, so all the employees of the company have a chance to get out to the track
and see everything up close."
Some sponsors would make a driver nervous by being around on race day, but Jason
White expressed just the opposite. "Everyone from GunBroker.com truly is great
to have around and they all give me a lot of encouragement," added white. "I'm
very fortunate."
Dwayne Gaulding, Director of Marketing for GunBroker.com is equally excited
about this race and their driver. "Jason is a great talent," said Gaulding. "On
and off the track we are pleased with his representation of the company."
"We hope for a top finish at Atlanta, but as a company and a partner to SS-Green
Light Racing we know it's a long season and the main goal is to keep building
good momentum with the team and Jason throughout the entire year," added
Gaulding.
