TRACK NEWS: LMS Promotes Roger Neale to VP of Operations
TruckSeries.com Report Printer Version

  Discuss

Roger Neale has been promoted to vice president of operations for Lowe's Motor Speedway. The promotion was announced today by H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, president and general manager of the legendary motorsports facility.

A native of Huntington, W.Va., who now lives in Harrisburg, N.C., Neale previously served as the track's director of operations and purchasing. In addition to overseeing facility operations and purchasing, Neale's responsibilities have been expanded to include management of new
construction projects.

"We have been very pleased with Roger's performance since he joined us in September of 1999 as director of purchasing," said Wheeler. "He has a tremendous ability to get things done in a timely and thorough fashion and with our busy schedule of events that is extremely important."

Neale will also continue to serve as the speedway's race director, managing facility operations during racing events at both the 1.5-mile superspeedway and the four-tenths-mile dirt track.
Prior to joining Lowe's Motor Speedway, Neale worked as a homebuilder and pilot and served as director of purchasing for Lance, Inc. and Homelite Consumer Products.
