Team Principal Kevin Buckler on The Addition of Donny Lia to TRG: "Signing a hot, young driver like Donny Lia was a huge bonus for us at TRG Motorsports. We're very excited to add him to our team. We will have two Raybestos rookies going for the gold in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year, which is definitely exciting for everyone at TRG. Donny is very talented and has shown a lot of promise. He's been successful in everything that he has raced and even won the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship last year. We're looking forward to helping him carry that success over to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series." Donny Lia on Racing for TRG Motorsports: "I'm excited to be racing for TRG Motorsports. Not being able to run Daytona made the wait harder to get into the truck. I know that we have good equipment and good people so I'm confident heading into the race. I don't think we're going to go there and tear up the field and win the race, but I think we can get a solid finish." Donny Lia on His Goals at California: "As long as I do my part and keep the fenders on our Chevrolet and not do anything stupid, we'll be in good shape. My goal is to run every lap. If we run every lap and keep the fenders on it, we should be able to finish in the top-20 and that would be a success. Anything better than that is just a bonus. I'm looking forward to it, because I think we're capable of it. Deep down, my goals are probably higher than what I'm saying, but at the end of the day, I've got to be realistic. I'm definitely confident that we can get a top-20 finish. " Donny Lia on The Learning Curve: "I spoke to Mike a little bit last week, and he's going to take me around the track in a car and show me certain points around the track that I should know about. I'll take that information from him, and just try to follow a couple of guys in practice and get a better idea of where I need to be. Other than that, it will just be a matter of feeling it out for myself." Crew Chief Jason Miller on Choice for California: Jason Miller, Crew Chief of the No. 71 Chevrolet, has selected Chassis No. 10 as TRG's primary piece for the San Bernardino 200. "This is a truck that we purchased from Waltrip Motorsports. They raced it at Bristol, Dover, Kansas, Kentucky, and Martinsville, so it was a pretty reliable truck. In the off season, it got a new body from AJ's Performance Fabrication and a motor from Mark Smith at Pro Motor Engineering." Donny Lia on His Team's Determination: "I know all of the guys at TRG Motorsports are going to put their all into giving me the best trucks that they can. Last week at Daytona they gave Mike Bliss an awesome truck and I was just happy to see that for the guys. I'm not at the shop a whole lot, but I know that they've been busting their tails working on these trucks. To see our truck get tore up last week was a real bummer. One of my biggest goals is to come back from California with all four corners on it, so they can relax a little before we head off to Atlanta." Donny Lia To Sign Autographs on Friday: Donny Lia and his teammate, 2007 Three-Time Rolex Grand Am Champion Andy Lally, will both be on hand to sign autographs for fans on Friday, February 22nd following NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying at California Speedway. The duo will sign autographs at the Chevy display located outside of the front stretch at the 2-mile oval.
