KVAPIL: California Fast Facts
TruckSeries.com Report Printer Version

  Discuss

Travis Kvapil has accumulated three top-10 finishes in five Truck Series starts at California Speedway.

In 121 career Craftsman Truck Series starts, Kvapil has accumulated nine wins, 48 top-five and 76 top-10 finishes.

The No. 09 team will be bringing chassis RK240-34 to Fontana.  This chassis last raced at Martinsville in October of 2007, where Colin Braun started 22nd and finished 34th.

Kvapil last competed in the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway where he started 10th and finished 21st

TRAVIS KVAPIL ON CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY:  "When I was offered the opportunity to go to the Cup series last fall, I told Jack (Roush) that if an opportunity ever came up for me to drive a
truck or a Nationwide Series car that I would love to do it.* Roush Fenway called me to see if I'd be interested in helping them out and I'm excited and looking forward to getting back behind the wheel in a truck race."

CHAD NORRIS ON CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY:  "It's going to be great having Travis Kvapil back in the Truck Series.  He's a champion and he's won a ton of races over the years.  It'll be good to
rebound from our disappointing Daytona finish.  We tested this truck at Atlanta last month, and we were pretty happy with it, and we know that Travis will get the most out of it this weekend."
