SceneDaily.com, the online NASCAR news portal for Charlotte-based Street & Smiths Sports Group, is re-launching today with exciting new features and expanded content.
In addition to a fresh new look, SceneDaily.com now offers user-commenting and user-ratings on articles and blogs. The site continues to cover daily breaking news for the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series, and will now feature expanded content including features from NASCAR Illustrated, as well as new online columns and individual blogs by each of the site's contributors.
"We also have a lot of new features scheduled to be released throughout 2008, which will allow users to not only interact with our content, but with other users as well as our well-respected writers and photographers," says Bryan Snyder, General Manager of scenedaily.com. "Advertisers have also echoed their desire to reach fans at the social-level of the sport because that's where the long-term interaction occurs," says Snyder.
SceneDaily.com has one of the most extensive online archives of NASCAR content with more than 18,000 articles and thousands of images covering the breadth and depth of NASCAR. Tens of thousands of users search the archive every month for information about both current and past NASCAR contenders.
"The initial re-launch is the first phase of an extensive effort on our part to engage new users and establish our site as a leading portal of NASCAR content," said Snyder.
SceneDaily.com is powered by the editorial staff of sister publications NASCAR Scene and NASCAR Illustrated, making it one of the largest NASCAR newsrooms in the country. Both print publications have a combined national circulation of over half a million subscribers. The publications date back to 1976.
Street & Smiths Sports Group, Inc. is a unit of American City Business Journals, Inc.
