Forget about Iowa and Iowa State both missing out on bowl games this season.
Let's talk wrestling.
That's the position of Fox Sports and Speed Channel broadcaster Krista Voda when it comes to boasting about her home state among colleagues.
"It's a little depressing, especially when you do move away, you feel responsible in terms of keeping up bragging rights, talking about the state or talking about your teams," said Voda, who grew up in Clinton and will work her second Cotton Bowl today on Fox.
"Lately I've had to really push wrestling."
Voda's worked a variety of sports in her broadcasting career - from motorsports to major league baseball, college football and college basketball.

Voda will work the game with Pat Summerall, Brian Baldinger and Jeanne Zelasko. She said working with someone as seasoned as Summerall is particularly gratifying.
