TEAM NEWS: 2008 Truck and Nationwide Sponsorship Opportunities Available with Key Motorsports

12-09-2007 | TruckSeries.com Report

Various sponsorship opportunities remain available at Key Motorsports for the organization's NASCAR Craftsman Truck and Nationwide Series race programs in 2008.

Though the race team has established some corporate partnerships for selected races for the 2008 campaign, numerous programs are still available for other sponsors on eight different levels and at varying price ranges for both the trucks and cars.

This menu of opportunities include full season sponsorships for associate positions up to a total race vehicle buyout package, but corporations can also select from several limited race and single market programs.

"There is a program for every budget and a budget for every program here at Key Motorsports, "explained Rich Rubenstein, Vice President of Operations. "We're proud to say that our partnership pricing is the most competitive in the industry, and we enhance that even more by including benefits that sponsors would ordinarily have to expend additional dollars to secure," he added.

Key Motorsports boasts a 16,000 square foot facility that sits on a 5.5 acre site just off North Carolina Highway 152 East. Coming off of only its second full season of Craftsman Truck Series competition in 2007 in which the #40 Chevrolet Silverado race trucks earned three top ten and six top 20 finishes while running all 25 races, the organization that is owned and managed by successful Virginia plumbing contractor Curtis W. Key, Sr. is finally matching its infrastructure with performance.

"Any company looking to participate in some level of NASCAR for the first time but having limited budgets can find something quite adequate to secure in sponsorship from our organization. And for those corporations that have been involved in our sport before but found it difficult to acquire a return on their investments, or had to spend additional dollars to make the sponsorships work, they would find the situation at Key Motorsports much more accommodating,"  Rubenstein added.

"Every partnership program that we offer includes an impressive list of benefits that sponsors can immediately utilize in activating their sponsorships but without having to spend incremental dollars. It becomes a win-win situation for everyone," Rubenstein said.

Most of the Key Motorsports sponsorship packages include such paid benefits as show truck displays, turn key pre-race hospitality events for customer entertainment, driver appearances, race day apparel, media services, printed driver hero cards, pit wall banners, sponsor licenses and race day tickets for consumer promotions.

"Key Motorsports offers far more to a sponsor than simply a decal on a race vehicle, and we have several corporations now reviewing our packages knowing that they can begin securing a return on investment and without increasing their financial obligation. We feel confident that our #40 race truck will be fully funded in 2008," Rubenstein added.

Key Motorsports will also embark on a limited run in Nationwide Series competition using the four Chevrolets that Key recently purchased from the DEI/Ginn Racing merger and sponsorship opportunities for the cars are also available.

Companies interested in discussing sponsorship opportunities in either the Key Motorsports race truck or race car program are invited to contact the team's sales department at 704-663-1670.
