Notes: Teams in all three NASCAR series will run the same tire codes at Texas this weekend, though the Nextel Cup and Busch Series tires will be branded "Goodyear Eagle," while the Craftsman Truck tires will be branded "Goodyear Wrangler" . . . this is the same specific combination of left- and right-side tires that Goodyear brought for Cup and Busch teams to run at Texas this past April . . . Craftsman Truck teams ran this right-side tire code (D-4064) with a different left-side code in their early-season appearance at Texas . . . in addition to Texas, this specific tire combination has been run at Chicagoland and will be run at Homestead on the 2007 schedule . . . this left-side code (D-4078) has been run with a slightly different right-side code by major NASCAR teams at California, Dover, Michigan, Kansas and Kentucky this season . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Texas . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
