TRACK NEWS: Vegas Picks Up New Title Sponsor for 2008 Truck EventAmerica's fastest trucks will come to Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2008 and find a new race sponsor.

Qwik Liner, one of the nation's leaders in truck bedliner coating, has signed on as a multi-year sponsor of LVMS's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. The event will be known as the Qwik Liner Las Vegas 350 and will be run Sept. 20, 2008 on the high-banked, 1.5-mile superspeedway.

"It seems that there are more pickup trucks on the road than ever before," said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. "Qwik Liner is a company that provides a valuable product to truck owners, and we are happy to have it as a partner in this event. This is the company's first foray into NASCAR sponsorship, and we appreciate its decision to partner with Las Vegas Motor Speedway."

Based in Houston, Qwik Liner manufactures and distributes spray-on, bedliner cartridge coating systems.  These systems are primarily used to protect the beds of pickup trucks but have many other applications including marine, commercial and industrial uses.

"There's a natural tie-in between a spray-on bedliner brand like Qwik Liner and truck racing," said Juan Carlos Martinez, managing partner of Qwik Liner. "We decided to use the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to create market awareness and grow our business.  We wanted to be associated with the biggest and best Truck event on the circuit, and that is clearly at Las Vegas Motor Speedway."
