"It's great to be behind the wheel of this Silverado for Billy Ballew Motorsports. We just ran laps this morning for comfort level and made some adjustments to tighten the truck up. We had a little wheel slide in the corners early on but I am much better in turns one and two now. I think the truck is just about perfect right now. Doug George (crew chief) and the rest of this team have been excellent to work with I just hope to bring home a good finish for them Saturday afternoon."

Brendan Gaughan, No. 77 South Point Hotel Silverado
"I think Bryan (Berry, crew chief) right there at the end, really got us out of gas, we ran it all the way down and we were turning 30.10s and .20s, which on old, old tires and low on fuel we think is going to be pretty darn good. Right now, Ron Hornaday's Silverado is the man to beat, he is unbelievable. I think we got ourselves close.

"I have to give a lot of credit to Dennis Setzer. Dennis did our testing for us at Richmond while I was out with an illness the Dr. wouldn't let me travel with. Chevy got us down to test, I couldn't get there, so no better man than Dennis Setzer to test and help us with our truck. Fortunately, he was able to test for us and he is familiar with our Silverado."

Ron Hornaday, No. 33 Camping World Silverado
On having a fast truck in practice: "Well, I'm not, it is this Chevrolet, Camping World and Rick Ren. The same truck we raced two weeks ago, really is a good truck. Somebody knocked us off the board there at the end, but we are learning. This is our Kevin Harvick setup he runs almost everywhere. Todd (Berrier, crew chief on Harvick's No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Impala SS) was nice enough to help us out and set this thing up two weeks ago, it is the same truck, same everything we ran. I just have to thank Richard Childress Racing, for giving us such killer motors, they are working so hard to help us win this championship for Chevrolet, myself, everyone at Kevin Harvick, Inc., Camping World, just everyone who helps us with this team. It is just a pleasure to come out here and run as well as we are."

On how exciting his first win was here at Loudon in the trucks back in 1996: "It must be one of the best memories I have in the NCTS because if you there was some beating and banging from Ernie Irvan; it has the left side tore up, it has the right side tore up. We were running like 17th with about 12 laps to go and we had, I can't remember how many green-white-checkereds. I got up to about third or fourth and then Jack Sprague and Joe Ruttman, had their little tangle thing and we took that Chevrolet Silverado to victory lane here. We have run good every time we have come here, we just haven't gotten a good finish. We just need a good win here. It was kinda weird when I came in here to sign in this morning, I looked over my shoulder and the first thing I saw was victory lane. Now I know where it is at again, so hopefully I can take this Camping World Chevrolet there tomorrow."

Clay Rogers, No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado
"The whole Spears team worked real hard last week to test at Richmond Monday and Tuesday. We unloaded here and I am real happy with the trailer. We have really made minimal changes; I think the least amount of changes I have made at a race track in a long time. Just trying to be patient to get re-acclimated with this track, I haven't been here in about two years. All-in-all, being eighth quick overall and our truck is driving real good in race trim on 40-lap tires, I feel we are as good as anybody. I am pretty happy about it."

"I finished fourth here in '05 qualifying 26th I think. So I am not sure qualifying is as big a deal here as it is other places although the tire is a lot harder now than it was in '05 which will probably make it harder to pass. I feel like we have a truck capable of qualifying in the top-10. That would be a good starting spot for us and I would be real happy with me not being here for a few year."

Aric Almirola, No. 47 Ginn Resorts Silverado
"In race trim, I am real happy with our Silverado. It just keeps getting faster and faster the longer we go. For whatever reason, it just doesn't take off real fast so qualifying might not be exactly what we are looking for, but, if the weather sets in tomorrow, race trim will be a lot more important."

On teaming with Mark Martin in the No. 8 Chevrolet in 2008: "Teaming up with Mark Martin is just incredible. Sitting on the couch as a little boy watching Mark and Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and Bill Elliott and all those guys go at it was cool. So now to be teamed with Mark and drive the same race cars he drives week in and week out, throw me in the mix with the same team and the same crew guys and same crew guys is going to be a big help for me. It is really going to boost my learning curse so I am really looking forward to it."

"The whole number thing, there is definitely something there. It is definitely that people are going to make a lot of but to me, it isn't really as big a deal as just getting the chance to get to race."

"Just to get drive a race car that has the U.S. Army on the side and hood of the car, to realize that you are representing thousands of troops that are fighting for our freedom that gives me the opportunity to race and do what I like to do is quite an honor. They give the fans the opportunity to come and watch us do what we love to do, they put their whole lives and souls in to fighting for us. It is neat to go out on the race track and represent them is pretty cool. It is the soldier's car, I am just lucky enough to drive it."
