With Lowe's Motor Speedway's four-day Food Lion AutoFair opening at 8 a.m. During your traffic reports, please advise rush-hour commuters to plan accordingly by taking alternate routes or leaving earlier for work. More than 6,000 cars and 7,000 vendors will be arriving at the speedway on Thursday and Friday for the Sept. 13-16 automotive extravaganza. Lowe's Motor Speedway officials recommend show attendees utilize Highways 29 and 49 to enter/exit the speedway area and to avoid Interstate 85 during morning and afternoon rush hours.
