Notes: This is the first time that NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams have run this specific combination of left- and right-side tires at Gateway. NASCAR Busch Series teams ran this same tire set-up at Gateway in July. This combination is not new to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams, having been run at Milwaukee and Indianapolis earlier this summer. Truck teams are also scheduled to run this tire set-up at New Hampshire next race and Phoenix in November. As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Gateway. Air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
