| TRACK NEWS: Kansas Speedway Announces Partnership with Blue Ox
08-23-2007 | TruckSeries.com Report
Kansas Speedway announced today that it has signed Blue Ox as the speedway's Official RV Towing Equipment. "With the popularity of camping in RV's at Kansas Speedway, it seemed only natural to sign Blue Ox to a partnership," said Kansas Speedway President Jeff Boerger. "Blue Ox believes that customer service comes first, just as we do at Kansas Speedway. I'm looking forward to working with the entire Blue Ox staff." Blue Ox offers a wide range of equipment that includes tow bars, baseplates, supplemental braking, weight-distribution and gooseneck hitches. "We are beginning our 5th year of involvement with NASCAR and are proud to expand our track presence to include Kansas Speedway. Blue Ox has been very supportive of the ISC tracks where we also have a presence at Daytona and Talladega," said Blue Ox President Jay Hesse. "We are very excited to meet the Kansas fans and provide the fans with the same level of trackside service and customer care that has become our trademark. We really consider Kansas Speedway our local track and are extremely happy to be part of the family." As part of their partnership, Blue Ox officials will be on hand race weekend to answer questions about their products and to assist fans in the campgrounds with any RV needs they may have. Kansas Speedway season tickets are on sale now and include the Kansas 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race (Sept. 30), the Yellow Transportation 300 NASCAR Busch Series race (Sept. 29), the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race (April 26, 2008) and the Kansas Lottery Indy 300 IndyCar Series race (April 27, 2008). Parking is always free at Kansas Speedway and fans are allowed to bring one 6x6x12-inch soft-sided cooler with their favorite food and beverages.
