Ron Hornaday, No. 33 Camping World Silverado, Started 2nd, Finished 1st: "This is an awesome win for our Camping World Silverado. Rick Ren (crew chief) called an awesome race and the adjustments they made on the first stop made the truck awesome.
On restart for green/white/checkered: "We were coming down for the green and Johnny (Benson, finished second) bumped me in the back and I am thinking 'Whoa Johnny, I am not even to the line yet.' I don't go until I get to that line because I have been black-flagged so many times, it would have been my fourth or fifth time, so I wasn't going to go. Now they are saying it is in the vicinity of the line. But the vicinity for me is when my front tires cross that line that is when I go. Johnny and those guys have to understand that; they can run in to the back of this truck all they want. It worked for out us.
On how strong his program is on all tracks: "Like I said, Rick Ren, Danny, all the guys, everybody at the shop, it takes all of them, you start naming names, it just takes everybody. I went to (Ken) Schrader's track at Peavley and learned how to slide them good. But, it is an awesome effort for the whole team at Kevin Harvick, Inc. I think Schrader's track did help me cause I was sliding it in the last 10 laps.
On contact with Willie Allen: "I started in under Willie and Benson and Travis (Kvapil) were right there with me and Willie slid up a little bit and I got in to him and he got in to the wall. I apologize to Willie cause I hate it that happened. Willie is a great little racer and he had a good truck tonight.
Regan Smith, No. 47 Ginn Resorts Silverado, Started 29th, Finished 8th: "All the guys on the Morgan-Dollar Chevy Silverado did an awesome job. Proud of all of them. Eric (Phillips, crew chief) gave me a great truck. This is great to come out here and run like this after the way this week has been. We ran really strong in the beginning; we just over adjusted just a little bit and got me a little too free there. I couldn't quite get underneath them and make passes. But where we started, all things considered, just really proud of all those guys and happy to get a top-10 for them. I hope I get to drive it a couple more times this year and get even better finishes for them.
"I was just loose and if I tried to roll the top and keep my momentum up, I just couldn't do it. I would go to get on the gas, I would like on a monkey on a football out there. The bottom was working for me so I just went with it."
Brendan Gaughan, No. 77 South Point Hotel Silverado, Started 19th, Finished 10th: "It was a solid night for the South Point Chevrolet team. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good night and with the luck we have been having recently, we'll take it. Kelly Sutton sent us a monkey this weekend that she had used in the past, and I think it helped us tonight.
"It was a track position battle all night, and we just couldn't get it. We had a great truck in practice and qualifying was rained out, so we had to start pretty far back. We worked our way up close to 10th and then we struggled on our pit stop and we had to do it all over again. I think we got as high up as ninth tonight in some great NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series side-by-side battles.
"With the struggles this team has had luck wise, I'm happy with a 10th-place tonight. I think we all are, but we want more than that. I've told the guys that this is the best short track truck I have ever had. It is a great Chevrolet Silverado. We didn't tear it up tonight; so we can go and make it better instead of having to put it back together."
Dennis Setzer, No. 75 Spear Manufacturing Silverado, Started 12th Finished 13th: "We made a lot of stops tonight and the guys made a lot of adjustments. They worked really hard there on the last stop with good adjustments and got us pretty decent there at the end. We came in and got tires with about 10 or 12 laps to go and put them to use. Very fortunate to get a few positions and come back and get a decent finish out of it. So there is something there to build on. Thanks to Spears and Chevrolet for all the help they give us, we will keep working and get them some better finishes."
Matt Crafton, No. 88 Menards Silverado, Started 10th, Finished 14th: "We had a really good truck there at the beginning, but I don't know what happened to it. We are still kind of scratching our heads over that. We came that first stop and put tires on it and the truck absolutely lost about three-tenths a lap. We thought it was a bad set of tires so we came in and put another set on it and that set was the same way. Came in again on that next to last caution and put another set on, went up three rounds on the track bar and nothing made a difference. So I don't know if we had a spring give up or what. We struggled the last half of the race for sure."
