NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Aaron Fike was arrested and later charged with possession of heroin and drug abuse instruments July 7 in the parking lot of Kings Island theme park outside of Cincinnati, according to a Mason (Ohio) Police Department news release.

Fike, who drives the No. 1 Red Horse Racing Toyota and is eighth in the series standings, could be suspended from competition, pending a NASCAR investigation.

"Once we know all the facts, we will make a decision on his participation in NASCAR going forward," NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said July 8.
