Chevy Qualifying Notes: Milwaukee

Brendan Gaughan, No. 77 South Point Hotel Silverado:  "Practice went good today. Both the shop and the race crew guys did a great job and made sure that we had a good Silverado right off the truck. And I've learned over the past few years that that is a big deal. We got every second of practice we needed today, and I like what we have. Thanks to John McQueen, our Chevrolet engineer, and the guys at Joe Gibbs Racing for letting us use their pull down rig, I think we have a chance to have another solid week as long as our bad luck streak is gone. I really like Milwaukee, we've always run well here, and I think that it is going to be a good night."

Kraig Kinser, No. 47 Ginn Resorts Silverado:  "We are really happy with our Silverado on long runs which is when it counts.  We were pleased with the laps times and how the handling stayed with the truck. Not sure where we will qualify, I would like to be as close to the front as possible, but I am confident in my truck in race trim and looking forward to tonight. At least it isn't so hot today and will be cooler tonight which helps in getting a better setup for a night race."

Ron Hornaday, No. 33 Camping World Silverado: "I am happy with my Silverado in both race and qualifying trim.  During the second practice, we worked on a lot of things to get us just a little better. I think we are going to qualify pretty decent and I am real happy with where we were in race trim. We are right where we need to be to start the race tonight."
