After another momentum building top-15 finish at the Michigan International Speedway (MIS) last Saturday afternoon, Kraig Kinser is looking for another solid run for his Ginn Resorts Silverado.
Kinser and his Morgan-Dollar Motorsports (MDM) team are focused on completing races, and they are confident the strong finishes will follow. The 11th race of the 2007 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTS) season will be Kinser's second time racing at the one-mile oval, where he finished 28th in 2006.
Calling the shots on the pit box is Eric Phillips, who is no stranger to success in the NCTS. Phillips has six wins under his belt in the NCTS, and his chemistry with Kinser in the last two races has been evident.
"I am ready to get to Milwaukee," Kinser said. "The last couple of weeks, we were able to leave Texas and Michigan with a 15th place finish, which is what we are working on. We are concentrating on finishing races, then the good finishes will follow. Milwaukee is a track that I have only raced at once, so it will be good to get back there. That track is just so flat, and is really unlike anywhere else that we go on the schedule. I was able to get some pointers and tips from Dennis (Setzer) when we ran there last year, so I am feeling good about heading to Milwaukee."
Practice for the Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 will start at 11:00 a.m. CDT on Friday, June 22nd followed by the one-hour final practice at approximately 1:00 p.m. CDT. Qualifying will be held at 5:30 p.m. CDT on Friday, June 22nd and the trucks will be impounded until the scheduled race start on Friday at 8:00 p.m. CDT.
Live television coverage of the 200-lap/200-mile-race will be provided by SPEED with MRN and Sirius Satellite Radio bringing the race live on the airwaves.
