NASCAR announced today that Kevin Starland, crew chief of the No. 14 Ford driven by Rick Crawford in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has been fined due to rule violations this past week at Texas Motor Speedway.

Starland was fined $1,000 for violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and12-4-W (using added weight in less than five pound blocks and improperly attached) of the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rule Book.

The infraction was discovered during pre-qualifying inspection on June 7.
