Evernham Motorsports announced today that Chase Miller will be behind the wheel of the No. 9 Lipton Dodge this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway . Miller, who most recently drove the No. 4 Dodge Ram for Bobby Hamilton Racing in the Craftsman Truck Series, will making his NASCAR Busch Series debut at the 1.333-mile oval.

Chase Miller is a 20-year-old native of Canton, Ga. He was signed on as part of the Dodge Driver Development program in 2006. While driving in the ARCA Series he went on to win at Pocono Raceway in only his second start. Miller also added a pole at Gateway to his early success in ARCA. Later that year, Miller filled the seat for the Bobby Hamilton Racing No. 4 Dodge Ram in the Craftsman Truck Series. He competed in eight events and scored his first top 10 finish at Martinsville in only his fourth start in the series.

"Driving for Evernham Motorsports is an excellent opportunity for me right now," said Miller. "The Ultimate Chargers program has been a proven winner the last few years and there have been some drivers I really look up to behind the wheel of the No. 9 Lipton Dodge. I can't wait to be a part of that team when we roll into Nashville."

Miller is the fifth driver to pilot the No. 9 Ultimate Chargers Dodge so far this season with other races having already been run by Boris Said, Elliott Sadler, Scott Riggs and primary driver Kasey Kahne. A future schedule for Miller in the No. 9 Ultimate chargers Dodge has not yet been set.

"We are always looking to use our Ultimate Chargers team to develop young talent whether that be a young driver like Chase (Miller), or our new Wisk Pit Crew," said Ray Evernham, owner and CEO of Evernham Motorsports. "We have been very impressed with what Chase has accomplished at an early age. This weekend at Nashville will be a good opportunity for him to showcase his talent but also get some experience behind the wheel in the Busch Series."
