During the past couple of years, Speed51.com has become synonymous with Most Popular Driver Awards. The popular short track racing website, has worked with a number of series and divisions around the country, including the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, NASCAR Whelen Modified and Whelen Southern Modified Series, the ARCA RE/MAX Series, CRA Super Series and the Lowe's Motor Speedway's Summer Shootout Series, to honor those with some of the biggest, most dedicated and passionate fans.

Now, Speed51.com is taking the Most Popular Driver Award one step further with the help of Aluminum Racing Products (ARP) Stock Car Bodies. The two will pair up to crown the Speed51.com Super Late Model Most Popular Driver, presented by ARP Stock Car Bodies, at the end of the 2007 season. Pro Late Model Series with ABC-style bodies are also eligible.

The award will be open to a growing number of Pro or Super Late Model Series' that compete with ABC-style bodies and will allow one driver to be called the most popular Super Late Model driver in the country. The list will include some of the best from the ACT Tour, ASA Late Model Midwest Series, ASA Late Model Challenge, North and South Series', Birmingham Super Series, the Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway, CRA Super Series, Goodyear Challenge Series, Sunbelt Super Series, Georgia Asphalt Series, PASS North, PASS South, Wisconsin Challenge Series, the Viper Series at South Alabama Speedway and many more.

To be eligible for the award, drivers will need to be in the top-20 in their respective Pro or Super Late Model series by June 30th. Voting will begin on Speed51.com on July 1st and continue through November 30th. Look for more details in coming weeks.
