Ryan Mathews will attempt to race at Dover International Speedway this weekend for his first time. Last weekend was Mathews first start ever in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. After drawing an early qualifying spot, Mathews would end up 24th on the starting grid. However, he raced his way to his first finish ever in a BDR Truck in the 18th position.
Ryan Mathews on racing at Dover International Speedway: "I have heard Dover is a great place to race, but you have to be aware of your surroundings much more than at other tracks. I have two great teammates, so I am learning a lot from them both."
"I am so excited for the opportunity to be racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, especially in a Bill Davis Racing Toyota Tundra. We had a decent run at it last weekend in Mansfield, but we definitely could have run a little better. This weekend we will try to qualify well and get a strong finish, so hopefully we can do both."
This week's race truck for the Dover International Speedway is Chassis No. 36-42. This truck was run last year and after a few minor changes it will debut for its first time this year, this weekend in Dover.
