Todd Bodine, the reigning Craftsman Truck Series champ, and former champion Travis Kvapil were at Dave & Buster's yesterday to promote the June 1 truck-series race at Dover. Glancing out the windows of Dave & Buster's on Columbus Boulevard, David Starr admired the span of the nearby Benjamin Franklin bridge. But the NASCAR racer's thoughts quickly turned to another landmark across town.
On a glorious, sunny afternoon - perfect for a jog - the devout Rocky fan wished aloud that he could re-create his cinematic hero's run up the Art Museum steps.
"I can identify with [Rocky's] struggles throughout his career," Starr said with a smile. "Maybe I'll get a chance [to run the steps] the next time I come to Philly.
