Roush Fenway Racing announced today that K&N Filters has signed on to sponsor their No. 6 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team and driver Travis Kvapil for the remainder of the 2007 season.

K&N signed on to sponsor the No. 6 at Daytona International Speedway on February 16. Kvapil led the most laps en route to a third-place finish, crossing the finish line inches behind Jack Sprague and Johnny Benson. K&N continued their sponsorship for the next five races, and signed on long-term following the race at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

"It's great that K&N has signed on with us full-time," said Kvapil. "They are a great company with products that myself and many of the guys in the shop use. Knowing that they are sticking with us for the long haul, that takes some of the pressure off of us in a way. We can focus on going racing now, knowing that they are behind us."

"We're very happy to have signed this sponsorship with K&N Filters," said team owner Jack Roush. "We will be using their filters in not only our Craftsman Trucks, but also in our Busch and NEXTEL Cup cars. Everyone at Roush-Yates engines have been impressed with their products, and we're looking forward to seeing the results on the racetrack."

Kvapil currently sits seventh in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points, 270 markers behind point leader Mike Skinner. With 19 races remaining in the 2007 season, Kvapil and crew are optimistic about their chances to return to victory lane and contend for the championship. "There are a lot of races coming up at tracks where I've run well and this team has run well," said Kvapil. "We're not out of the hunt for the championship by any means."
