Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell this week announced the promotion of two employees.

Henry Williams, a long-time speedway employee, has been promoted to Senior Director of Facility Operations, while Gordon Wilson has been named Director of Track Operations.

"I'm very please to have two dedicated employees who can take on additional roles and help to further the growth of Martinsville Speedway," said Campbell. "Both are valued employees that compliment our talented and committed staff."

Williams, a Henry County native, has been employed by the speedway for 26 years. His most recent post was Facilities Manager. In his new position as Senior Director of Facility Operations, Williams will be responsible for all capital projects, oversight of the facility and acquiring and managing all contractors and strategic partners.

Williams and his wife Regina, have one son and live in Ridgeway.

Wilson was hired by the speedway last year as Assistant Facility Manager. In his new role as Director of Track Operations he will budget and manage all aspects of maintenance, daily security, coordinate all testing at the track and will be the track's liason with NASCAR on event requirements. Additionally, he will be responsible for all part time event staffing.

Wilson, a life-long resident of Henry County, lives in the Figsboro area with his wife Nancy. They have two children.
