Redneck Racing Series to be Featured on Popular "SPEED Road Tour Challenge" Now, the Redneck Racing Series will be coming to living rooms throughout the entire country. On Thursday, May 17th, at 8:30pm ET, the RRS will be featured as part of the "SPEED Road Tour Challenge" on SPEED. "SPEED Road Tour Challenge," hosted by SPEED's Rutledge Wood, follows four contestants that have been duking it out in challenges at each stop along the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup road since the season-opening event at Daytona. Each week, the contestants' results in the challenge earn points that go towards the grand prize at the end of the show, a job with SPEED and a brand-new Toyota truck. Leading up to the NASCAR event at Darlington last weekend, the four "SPEED Road Tour Challenge" contestants headed to Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina, where a fleet of Redneck Racing Series Street Stocks were awaiting. What happened from there? Tune in on the 17th at 8:30pm ET. "The Redneck Racing Series has become one of the biggest draws in racing in the Southeast; now race fans all over the country will have a chance to check out what the series is all about," said Redneck Racing Series driver and SPEED NASCAR television commentator Bob Dillner, who also played a major role in the "SPEED Road Tour Challenge" episode. "The reaction of all four contestants when they first saw these cars at Hickory was priceless, but it's the same reaction we've been seeing whenever the Redneck Racing Series hits the track. They had a blast and it was an emotional finish to the challenge." Be sure to tune in on Thursday, May 17th, at 8:30pm ET, to see what the contestants had to do with the "Street Stocks on Steroids" of the Redneck Racing Series on "SPEED Road Tour Challenge." The show will be replayed several times throughout the week following its initial airing. Check www.speedtv.com for airtimes.
