Whether Iowa Speedway's future schedules will include NASCAR events beyond the Grand National Division is anybody's guess.
But Iowans pining for even more events at the second-year Newton facility can be certain of one thing here and now, said NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Rick Crawford.
"I met with Rusty (Wallace) about a week after the (Indy Racing League) cars went there and tested, and he was very proud of the place," said Crawford, who enters Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway third in series points. "And if anybody knows Rusty Wallace, (they know) Rusty Wallace does things first class."
