Dover International Speedway is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Amhaus as business development manager and Larry Jones as merchandise supervisor. Both join the Speedway in recently created positions.
In his new role, Amhaus will actively market track sponsorship packages, skybox suites and display space to national, regional and local companies for all NASCAR events at Dover International Speedway.
Amhaus joins the Monster Mile from Stageco U.S. Inc., based in Downingtown, Pa., where he served as the national account manager since March 2005. Prior to Stageco, Amhaus was a national account manager with Bentley Systems, Inc., in Exton, Pa. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he currently resides in Downingtown.
As merchandise supervisor, Jones will manage souvenir merchandise operations, distribution, and control of inventory and staffing of all retail outlets at the Monster Mile. He will oversee Dover's online store and will coordinate special event merchandise and holiday package sales.
Jones has an extensive background in merchandising and previously worked as inventory control manager with the Speakman Company in New Castle, Del.
Prior experience also includes more than ten years experience as warehouse manager with Sunroc LLC, based in Dover. Jones currently resides in Townsend, Del.
