Marrill "Doc" MacDonald, husband of 48 years to Patricia "Pat" and father of NASCAR racecar drivers Randy MacDonald and Teri MacDonald-Cadieux passed away Monday, March 26, 2007, from his nine year battle with cancer. He would always say "I'm Hunky Dory, giving God the Glory."

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 6:30 PM Thursday, March 29, 2007 in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service on Eastchester Drive in High Point, with visitation following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to High Point Gideons, PO Box 5275, High Point, NC 27262 or His Laboring Few Ministries, 812 Martin Luther King Dr., Thomasville, NC 27360.

Mr. MacDonald is survived by his wife, Patricia, son and daughter-in-law; Randy and Gina of High Point, daughter and son-in-law; Teri and Charles Cadieux of Greensboro, grandchildren; Jenifer Lynn and MacKenzie MacDonald and Charles Tanner Cadieux. Mr. MacDonald is also survived by two adopted children, Marty and Jackie MacDonald, who reside in Canada, as well as eight grandchildren.
