Network Veteran Has Been With SPEED Since 1996 In his new role, Wilson is responsible for all NASCAR programming on SPEED. "Frank loves what he does," Nickell said. Wilson began working at SPEED in 1996, the network's first year on the air, producing a wide variety of news, information and racing programs, including SPEED's signature Formula One coverage. He was promoted to Sr. Coordinating Producer in 2003. Before coming to SPEED, Wilson spent 10 years at KDKA in Pittsburgh. A Pitt graduate, Wilson now resides in Charlotte, NC.
