SPEED Promotes Wilson to Vice President of ProductionSPEED Executive Vice President & General Manager Hunter Nickell today announced Frank Wilson has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Production for the Charlotte-based motor sports and automotive lifestyle network.

In his new role, Wilson is responsible for all NASCAR programming on SPEED.

"Frank loves what he does," Nickell said. "People love working for him -- he's really motivating our team to accomplish new things."

Wilson began working at SPEED in 1996, the network's first year on the air, producing a wide variety of news, information and racing programs, including SPEED's signature Formula One coverage. He was promoted to Sr. Coordinating Producer in 2003.

Before coming to SPEED, Wilson spent 10 years at KDKA in Pittsburgh. A Pitt graduate, Wilson now resides in Charlotte, NC.
