Mike Skinner led five times for 67 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the American Commercial Lines 200. Skinner took the honor for the second time in 2007.
Skinner has led 11 times in three races this season for a total of 119 laps.
Skinner won tonight's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, crossing the finish line .711 seconds ahead of second-place Todd Bodine. The victory was the 21st of Skinner's 132-race Craftsman Truck Series career. He scored the 10th victory in the series for Bill Davis Racing.
Skinner Quotes: "We got a little more air filter money. As a matter of fact, my son is running super late models tonight and he's got one of those good WIX air filters on it. I thought we weren't going to win WIX Filters Lap Leader tonight. I thought Todd was going to do it and we're just very fortunate. This has probably been one of my very best tracks as far as being fast. We've been fast in the NEXTEL Cup Series, fast in the Busch Series here. I had the race won and the caution came out the first year I came back to the trucks and Bobby Hamilton beat us on the last lap. It was a pretty spectacular finish.
