Rick Crawford will be making his first start in his newly designed Circle Bar Ford F-150 with Power Stroke Diesel Engine as a sponsor. Last year in Daytona, the Circle Bar Pit Crew won the Checkers/Rally's Double Drive Thru Challenge Pit Crew Award for spending less time on pit road than any other race team.
Crawford and Crew Chief Kevin "Cowboy" Starland have both won at Daytona but not together.
Crawford will make his 248th start - a Series record - at Daytona International Speedway. Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19th, 1997.
Rick Crawford on Daytona:
"This will be our first start with Power Stroke Diesel and the first time I've ever had a teammate. There have been plenty of times I wished I had a teammate to work the draft with and now I have one. David (Starr) has really fit in with our Circle Bar operation and our first test sessions (Daytona & Miami) together as teammates paid big dividends. He and I have the same kind of feel we're looking for on the racetrack and Cowboy and Dennis (Connor) speak the same language. I really expect big things for our race teams and I'm ready to get started."
