Performance Racing Network, a NASCAR radio rights holder, has announced a partnership with Mt. Wilson Broadcasters of Southern California through which the network's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race broadcasts will air on radio stations Country 540 and 1260 KKGO.

The broadcast schedule begins with the UAW Daimler-Chrysler 400 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 11.

This marks the first time PRN's full schedule of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series races can be heard in both the Los Angeles and San Diego markets.

KKGO brought country music back to the airwaves in Los Angeles after launching the music format first on 540-AM and adding the 1260-AM frequency licensed to Beverly Hills earlier this year.

"We've been searching for a full-time partner in Southern California to help bring the excitement of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series racing to the airwaves," said John Napolitano, director of affiliates for PRN. "The opportunity to work with the only country radio station serving all of Southern California was too good to pass up. We appreciate the commitment KKGO has made to bring NASCAR racing to thousands of race fans in Southern California and hope local businesses will step up and support KKGO."

"We are proud that we can join the PRN family of radio affiliates, and the NASCAR brand fits nicely with our country programming," said Kane Biscaya, general sales manager of Mt. Wilson Broadcasters. "Part of our goal is to grow the awareness and interest in our local market with national races and to offer motorsports fans two radio stations that cover over a
200- mile area from San Diego to Santa Barbara."

Performance Racing Network is a subsidiary of Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (NYSE:TRK) with over 750 radio affiliates throughout the United States.
