Marcos Ambrose started 17th and finished 27th at the Ford 200 last Friday night at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Marcos Ambrose on Miami: "We've spent the last few races working toward next year. These exotic setups are part of the business, so it's something we're sorting through. All of the cars and trucks at Wood Brothers/JTG Racing have been working on the coil-binding problem and that's limited us during the race because we're locked into a couple specific ideas."
Marcos Ambrose on the season: "I can't begin to tell you how much I've learned this year. I wish there were 10 more races left in the season. The biggest lesson I learned this year is there's no such thing as a perfect setup. As a driver, I have to adjust to the car as much as we adjust on the car. I'm going to spend some time going back to Australia in the off-season and then I'm going to come back really eager for the 2007 season in the No. 59 car in the Busch Series."
Crew Chief Michael Cooper on Miami: "In these last couple races, our success wasn't defined by our finishing position. We decided to through a lot of new ideas at both of our trucks so we can get ready for next year. We learned a few things that will help, and we learned a lot of things that won't help.
That's going to give us a good start for next year because we've already been able to rule out some things."
