Final 2006 Truck Start for Busch Up Next at Phoenix

Kyle Busch will make his final start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for 2006 on Friday at Phoenix International Raceway. Competing in the No. 15 Freedom Grill/KyleBusch.com Chevy Silverado for Billy Ballew Motorsports, Busch hopes to move up one spot from his second place finish last week at Texas Motor Speedway and pick up the victory in the Casino Arizona 150.

"I hope that the success we have had there in the Cup car will translate over to the truck," said Busch. "I am trying to get Alan (Gustafson, crew chief NNCS No. 5) to give me some shocks and some advice on what we need to do with our Freedom Grill/KyleBusch.com Silverado in Phoenix. I haven't been too successful yet, so I will see what I can figure out there. I like Phoenix, it is a great place. And the reason I like running the truck out there is that it is basically where they came from- Bakersfield, California is where they came from, but Phoenix was one of the first races that they had, so it would be pretty cool to put my name with all the winners that have won there."

In last year's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at PIR, Busch crashed his primary truck in practice. The Billy Ballew Motorsports team, including Busch himself, hustled to get the back-up truck out and everything switched over from the primary in order to get on the track for crucial practice time. Even with short amount of time he got for practice, Busch was able to qualify the No. 15 in third position. Busch got a good start and led the first 25 laps of the race. Busch lost the handling a little bit and ended up finishing in 11th position in the 2005 event.

Freedom Grill and KyleBusch.com both return to the No. 15 Chevrolet after adorning the hood and quarterpanels respectively at Texas Motor Speedway last week. Freedom Grill, "The Official Grill of Tailgating," manufactures cooking grills made especially for the tailgate enthusiast. Offering three different models, Freedom Grill is taking the tailgating industry by storm with their signature "outside of the vehicle" design. The grills attach to the trailer hitch of a vehicle allowing customers to cook and travel with the grill outside the back of the vehicle, offering no-mess, no-fuss tailgating. KyleBusch.com launched last Friday in time for the NCTS race on Friday night. The website has already been a huge success, with the numerous fan of Busch logging on to check out the site, as well as all the information KyleBusch.com provides.

The Casino Arizona 150 gets underway at 8:15 p.m. EST from the Phoenix International Raceway. The race will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST and on MRN Radio.
