Keselowski Takes Lead, Finishes Strong in Texas Busch Race

Brad Keselowski finished 29th at the O'Reilly Challenge in the #23 Ridley Motorcycles Chevrolet on Saturday.

Keselowski started in 38th position and worked his way up to take the lead mid-way through the race. He led for two laps before running out of gas on the way into the pits. Without power, the car coasted into the pit stall, but without a tachometer Keselowski wasn't able to correctly judge his speed and he was assessed a pass-through penalty for speeding on pit road.

"The pass-through penalty really hurt us," said crew chief Ronnie Griffin. "We gambled on the fuel mileage one lap too many and it cost us a top-20 finish."

"The Ridley Motorcycle Chevrolet was awesome today," said Keselowski. "The team has been doing a great job for me and I can't say enough about how everyone is working together to get better every week."

Next up for the team is the Arizona Travel 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, Nov. 11.
