Fast Facts for November 3-5, 2006

Tire: Goodyear Eagle Speedway Radials (Nextel Cup and Busch Series); Goodyear Wrangler Speedway Radials (Craftsman Truck)

Number of Tires:
Nextel Cup: Left-side -- 1,500, Right-side -- 1,500
Busch Series: Left-side -- 525, Right-side -- 525
Craftsman Truck: Left-side -- 350, Right-side -- 350

Technical Inspection Inflation: Left Front -- 30 psi; Left-Rear -- 30 psi; Right Front -- 50 psi; Right Rear -- 47 psi

Minimum Recommended Inflation: Left Front -- 23 psi; Left-Rear -- 21 psi; Right Front -- 49 psi; Right Rear -- 45 psi

Estimated Pit Window: Every 60-65 laps, based on fuel mileage (Nextel Cup & Busch); Every 55-60 laps, based on fuel mileage (Craftsman Truck)

Notes: This is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Goodyear brought to Texas for teams in all three major NASCAR series earlier this season . . . teams in all three series will run the same tire codes this weekend, though the Nextel Cup and Busch Series tires will be branded "Goodyear Eagle" and the Craftsman Truck tires will be branded "Goodyear Wrangler" . . . this is the only track on which Nextel Cup teams will run this exact combination of tires this season, though this left-side code (D-4008) will be run with a different right-side code at California, Kansas and Homestead ... as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Texas ... air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
