SPEED Cameras Get Unprecedented Access to Ganassi Racing for Racing Incorporated
Pair of One-Hour Specials Gives Inside Look at NASCAR, IRL and Grand Am Operations

SPEED will deliver an inside look into the business of racing with a pair of one-hour Racing Incorporated specials focusing on the motor sports operations of multi-team owner Chip Ganassi. Given unprecedented access to race shops and meetings for about three weeks in August, the specials will air Nov. 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. ET & PT.

"This is about as inside as it gets," said SPEED VP of Programming Robert Ecker. "For anyone interested in the inner workings of a full-scale, state-of-the-art race operation, this is the real deal. The Ganassi organization is dynamic, diverse and constantly under pressure. Racing Incorporated provides a portal into that world unlike anything that has preceded it."

"Initially I needed a little convincing to green light this project," Ganassi said. "We, as an industry, have historically been very tight-lipped about how we do things. When filming started it took us beyond our comfort level, but as we became more and more at ease with the crew at Racing, Inc. it became much easier to allow them the access that we did. I hope this show sheds light on all the people that work long hours behind the scenes in getting these cars ready for the race on Sunday."
