"We want to raise awareness of the economic investment Goodwill makes in communities across North America by turning donations into jobs," says Jim Harris, owner of the Goodwill Toyota Tundra and HT Motorsports. "We hope NASCAR fans will see Goodwill as a place where they can both donate the things they no longer need and find support and training to be successful at work."
HT Motorsports has donated the vehicle's space to Goodwill Industries. "We are grateful to Jim Harris and his HT Motorsports team for their generous support of Goodwill and introducing us to NASCAR fans at the racetrack," says George W. Kessinger, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. "The people we serve often come to us when they're barely at the starting line of their careers, and thanks to the public's support of Goodwill, we are able to help them enter the workforce and advance their careers."

Last year, more than 846,000 people benefited from Goodwill's career services. People like Tracy Lockhart Greene of Lexington, NC. A single mother of two, Greene depended on a welfare check to support her family. With the help of Goodwill, she completed her GED and a Goodwill job-readiness program, eventually landing a job at the Davidson County Sheriff's Office and beginning a career in law enforcement. Today, Greene is married, owns her home, and is planning for her children's future.
