Reutimann Zeros in on Strong Truck Series Season Finish

With only four races remaining on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule, David Reutimann's primary goal is to end his season on a high note and add to his two pole awards, six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.

Next on the agenda is Atlanta Motor Speedway, which is a track the No. 17 Team Tundra Racing driver favors.

"It's a track I really like," Reutimann said. "It's a multi-groove race track that you can race from the top to the bottom. We have had some decent runs at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the past and that's why it's one of my favorite tracks on the schedule. We always run well there."

Reutimann posted back-to-back top-five finishes at California Speedway (fourth-place) and Atlanta Motor Speedway (fifth-place) earlier this season. During his rookie year two years ago, Reutimann collected Toyota's first-ever Bud Pole Award and went on to finish third in his first time racing at the 1.54-mile quad-oval.

"It was my first truck pole and Toyota's too," Reutimann said. "We had a strong finish. I'm hoping we can have the same luck this weekend and turn things around."

Reutimann's best finish this season is third at Gateway International Raceway and he's aiming to change that this weekend.

"We are going to continue to race as hard as we can and try to win some races," Reutimann said. "We haven't been making any headway with the way things have gone the last couple of months. We've had some bad things happen and it's taken us out of contention. If we can win a couple races it will make our season better. We need to finish out strong."
