NASCAR Raceday, NASCAR Victory Lane Set Through 2010

Spencer, Wallace Sign New Deals with SpeedNASCAR veterans Jimmy Spencer and Kenny Wallace will continue sharing their wit and wisdom with SPEED viewers, signing new multi-year deals to continue their roles on the popular NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane.

"It's great to be able to keep the team together," said Chris Long, SPEED VP of Studio Production. "With the signing of John (Roberts) and Wendy (Venturini) earlier this summer, we've taken measures to ensure our viewers will continue to be the most well-informed NASCAR fans in the country. These guys have a lot of fun together and their chemistry is magical; something every network hopes to capture."

The new pre and post race formats continue to be a hit with fans, as NASCAR RaceDay ratings are up 17 percent from last year, and NASCAR Victory Lane ratings are up six percent.

"This show has really been adapted to fit the fans," Spencer said. "We really try hard to cut through all of the stories that come out in press releases and tell the fans the real stories behind what's going on in NASCAR. I'm happy to be staying with SPEED and I'm excited about being a part of the growth of this show... it doesn't get better than working with John, Kenny, Wendy and Bobby Dillner.

"I've had so much fun doing NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane that I could not pass up the opportunity given to me by SPEED," Wallace said. "SPEED has become a part of who I am and what I am known for over the last three years. I am very thankful for the opportunity that has been given to me and I hope that the fans continue to have fun and support all of the wonderful SPEED shows."

This week's NASCAR RaceDay from Charlotte will feature a "Real Deal" interview with NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick.
