Two days before the sound of engines fills the air, the timeless music of Creedence Clearwater Revisited will rock Homestead-Miami Speedway. On Wednesday, November 15, race fans, music lovers, and anyone looking for a great time, can take part in this exciting event, just one of many during the Ford Championship Week of Events leading up to Ford Championship Weekend. The group's certified gold record "Recollection," is a double-live CD which presents 22 classic Creedence Clearwater Revival Hits, including gold singles, such as "Proud Mary," "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Down on the Corner," and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." These songs are not only radio classics, but are still staples in movie scenes, as well. Prior to the concert, fans can take part in Ford Racing's DriveZone at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where they will have the chance to test brand new Ford vehicles, meet Ford Racing celebrities, and enjoy interactive displays. Gates will re-open at 5:30 pm to concert-ticket holders, with Creedence Clearwater Revisited scheduled to take the stage at 8:00 pm. All three NASCAR Series, the Craftsman Truck, Busch, and NEXTEL Cup will crown champions under the lights during Ford Championship Weekend.
