NASCAR Tickets Still Available for Atlanta

10-09-2006 | TruckSeries.com Report

Race after race Atlanta Motor Speedway showcases some the best racing on circuit at one of the premiere facilities on the circuit. It's side-by-side racing from the drop of the green flag through to the close finishes at the waving of the checkered flag. The only thing missing is you.

But you still have time and great seats are still available for all three days of action during the Bass Pro Shops 500 weekend.

Start you weekend off with qualifying under the lights with Georgia-Pacific Qualifying and watch all the stars of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup vie for the pole position for Sunday's big race. Qualifying will be followed by what's sure to be an intense wheel-to-wheel race on AMS's 1/4-mile track, Thunder Ring, as the ASA Southern Modified Series comes to the Speedway for the first time.

Saturday is another day with two action-packed events. The top drivers in several racing series including three-time IRL champion Sam Hornish Jr.
compete head to head in the final race of the 2006 Crown Royal IROC series. But that's only the start as the Craftsman Truck Series rolls on to the speedway for the EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 which is sure to be an edge of your seat race from beginning to end if the four previous truck races at AMS are any indication.

The heart-pounding weekend comes to an end on Sunday with the Bass Pro Shops 500. It's the seventh race in the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup. It's sure to be full of excitement as Chase drivers jockey for position to score key points in the championship hunt while all 43 drivers look to grab the race win and take home the coveted Bass Pro Shops trophy.
