Todd Bodine, Germain Racing, No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra: "From where I was it was a clean pass. That's the problem with having a rule that's an interpretation of a rule. When I got alongside Mark (Martin) I was above the yellow line. He turned and pulled me below the yellow line. The interpretation is if you start the pass below the yellow line. I didn't start to pass below the yellow line. I was above it and Mark forced me below that. They actually talk about being forced below it. Everybody sees it different. We had Mark beat. That's just the way it goes. It's a rule that is very hard to determine what's right and wrong."

"There was no way I could go around Mark. I tried a couple times out there and he blocked me. I was under him a couple times and he cut me off, and I let him get back him in. You have to think about those things (the points) because you don't want to get shuffled back to 15th. If we had to finish second, that's what we were going to do. Mark slipped up and I had a run and took it. As far as I'm concerned, I made the pass legal."

How did you end up fourth? "I have no idea. A lot of side-drafting. I got a couple pushes from behind and a couple lucky breaks. It could have been a real bad day for use points-wise, and it turned out OK."

Ted Musgrave, Germain Racing, No. 9 Team ASE/Germain Toyota Tundra: "This Tundra finished third at Daytona and third here at Talladega. Our pit strategy and drafting helped us get up to third. This truck has drag on it. It works really good at Daytona, but it's too 'draggy' to lead here. I got eaten up real bad when I was up front. I could not lead the pack. We had to do the best we could do."

Mike Skinner, Bill Davis Racing, No. 5 Toyota Tundra: "We were driving very aggressive. We made a deal with Barry Dodson and Derrick Cope (No. 40). They were going to stick with us and we were pulling drafts off people, and moving forward and moving forward. I want everbody to understand that Billy Ballew is a friend of mine and Mike Wallace is a friend of mine and he's one of the best drafters out here. And I feel that was my fault. It was absolutely not intentional. We were not going to win the race, we were going to finish second, third or fourth. I sure wouldn't wreck my buddy's truck for one spot. Our truck wasn't good today, but we had some good stops and made some drafting deals and ended up with a good day."
