Chase Miller will be making his first career superspeedway start at Talladega on Saturday. He will be piloting BHR Chassis "Rudolph" which finished 12th at Daytona in February.

The John Deere 250 will mark Miller's 3rd NCTS career start. In his previous two races Miller has an average starting position of 15th and a finishing position of 24th.

Miller is slated to drive the No. 22 Dodge Motorsports Dodge in the Food World 250 ARCA RE/MAX Series event on Friday, October 6th.

Miller on being named the driver of the No. 4 Dodge for the remainder of the season: "Everything has happened so fast. It seems like yesterday I was trying to make a name for myself in the ARCA Re/Max Series. When I got the call from Dodge to run New Hampshire and Las Vegas I was thrilled, but I knew I had to prove to them I was the man for the job. They gave me two races to show them what I could do. Thankfully, I jelled with the team and we ran extremely well. The finishes do not show how well we ran and Dodge knew that. I have to thank them and Bobby Hamilton Sr. for believing in a 19 year-old rookie. Now the pressure is off and I can just go out there and race. A lot of people would say it's a long shot for this team to win one of the final six races, but I think we can. I think we just might surprise some people."

Miller on his first superspeedway start: "This weekend will be interesting for sure. I have never run a superspeedway race, but I am excited about going to Talladega. I tested my ARCA car last week and got acclimated with the track. I know the car and truck will handle differently, but at least I will have some seat time before heading into the race on Saturday. The one thing I noticed during testing is that you don't feel the speed like I thought you would, at least not like I did at Las Vegas two weeks ago. It feels like you are going slow, but I know you are not. I know it will be important to not get impatient during the race. I plan on learning a lot from Bobby Hamilton Jr. during practice and sticking with my teammates during the race. Hopefully, we will be there at the end and can finish the race in one piece."

Miller ran the Allison Legacy Series in 2002. He competed in 24 events and won four races, had 20 Top five finishes and 22 Top-10's. He was the series Rookie of the Year and Hard Charger of the Year winner. He also finished second in series points.
