Chevy Silverado Scores Two Top-10 Finishes in Truck Rumble at Bristol
Kyle Busch and Mike Bliss Finish Sixth and Eighth Respectively

Kyle Busch, No. 15 Bowen Family Homes/Manheim Auction Silverado, made an exciting pass on the final green flag of the race with just two laps remaining to move from ninth in the order to finish sixth. After a flat right rear tire on lap three, Busch battled back to the top-10 in the 200-lap race that had nine caution flags for 53 laps.

Mike Bliss, No. 16 Xpress Motorsports Silverado, battled through traffic to finish eighth as Mark Martin claimed his fourth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of the year.

Todd Bodine (Toyota), Ted Musgrave (Toyota), Johnny Benson (Toyota) and David Starr (Toyota) completed the top-five finishers.

The next event is September 16, 2006 at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Kyle Busch, No. 15 Bowen Family Homes/Manheim Auction Silverado, Qualified 7th, Finished 6th:
"That race truck was pretty good. I didn't have anything to lost, we are just fighting for owner's points, I just put it on the outside to see what we could do. We just fought all nightlong in the back, trying to fight our way through. It was tough that way, because all the leaders pitted on lap 20, we pitted on lap 6 and lap 123. We made twice as many stops as anyone else, so coming from the back like that. I am looking forward to Loudon, and we will do Texas together. The first caution, I tried to go low, and I thought I miss edit, but I caught some debris with the right rear, and I heard the tire, and all the air blew right out of it, so it was a good thing that I heard it and we caught it before we got going."

Mike Bliss, No. 16 Xpress Motorsports Silverado, Qualified 4th, Finished 8th:
"We had a really fast truck, but you just couldn't pass out there tonight. You just can't pass here unless the guy in front of you screws up and you aren't going to get by a guy like (Mike) Skinner or someone because they just don't screw up that much. We should have pitted when Mark (Martin) did, but we thought that was too early. But, it is Bristol and you have all these yellows. It is an ok night."

Matt Crafton, No. 88 Menards/Energizer Silverado, Qualified 25th, Finished 12th:
"We had a really good truck out there; we just were loose on the short run. I tried to pass the 10 truck, and he drove me low, and just about wrecked us both, then drove me in the fence. I finally got by him, but he got me loose and we lost about five spots because of that. All in all, not a bad night, the truck has all the wheels heading in the right direction, so we will just go from there."

Dennis Setzer, No. 85 E85 FlexFuel Silverado, Qualified 19th, Finished 14th:
"Yeah, our FlexFuel Silverado was a bit tight tonight but the guys did a great job and we had good stops all night and fourteenth was about all that we could get tonight. We fought the same problem we had tonight all day in practice and the changes we made on the truck just couldn't hit the right set-up we needed. The truck was really tight and continued on through the entire race and the truck was really tough to handle through the corner but I am proud of these guys and we're really going to get better with this team."

Ron Hornaday Jr., No. 33 Allstates Employer Services Silverado, Qualified 18th, Finished 27th:
Note:
Hornaday suffered a wheel failure on lap 180. The crew made repairs and Hornaday returned to the race: "It wasn't a good night for the AES Silverado. We struggled all day when we got here, we just fought loose all day and we got it tightened up, and that was our own fault and we caught it. I knew we were good in qualifying and I just overdrove it. The team is working better; we just can't have a run like this for a brand new sponsor. I just have to thank them for coming on board, AES is with us for the rest of this year and next year also, so I am looking forward to having them on board. AES and Chevrolet deserve a better finish, but we will just move on, and work towards a better run in Loudon."

Other Silverado Finishers:
Kerry Earnhardt, No.13 ThorSport Silverado, Qualified 32nd, Finished 20th
Kraig Kinser, No. 46 Ginn Clubs & Resorts Silverado, Qualified 27th,Finished 24th
Chad McCumbee, No. 08 The GPS Store/Garmin Silverado, Qualified 28th, Finished 25th
Travis Kittleleson, No. 07 Bob Steele/Fan 1st.com Silverado, Qualified 29th, Finished 30th
Ryan Moore, No. 40 Speedway Children's Charities Silverado, Qualified 34th, Finished 31st
Robert Richardson, No. 1 winyourmortgage.com Silverado, Qualified 36th, Finished 36th
Aric Almirola, No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado, Qualified 2nd, Finished 32nd:
