Marcos Ambrose on Nashville: "If I could have cleared (Jack) Sprague coming off of Turn 2, I might have had a chance. He kept beside me and he took the wind out of my motor, and I just didn't want to wreck him there in 3 and 4. We came so far and he's a veteran, and I just wanted to make sure I brought her home. Third for us is as good as a win; that's just a great day. We were top Ford and top rookie. I led a lot of laps and it's just been a great experience."
Marcos Ambrose on the season: "Man, I love NASCAR. It's just a challenge to be part of that action. The truck series is fantastic and I have a fantastic team behind me, too. This is learning year for us, and they just give me great trucks week in and week out. It's just great to give them a finish like this. I'm a rookie, and we just wanted to come here and get a Top 10 if we could. If we did our job right, we thought we would, but to mix it up with the veterans out there and lead a lot of laps, it's just a dream run. I love NASCAR and I love the truck series. That action there on the last lap, that's why I traveled 39,000 miles was to come and just experience that and be part of it. Hopefully I've been involved in some of that now. I'm going to have a nice bottle of Aussie Vineyards wine. I'm pretty pleased with myself."
Crew Chief Gary Gogswell on Nashville: "Every week Marcos and everyone else on this Team Australia/Aussie Vineyards Ford team amazes me. Everyone has been so quick to come up to speed. Marcos has been such a quick study on the speedways, and that's incredible considering his background is road racing. Everyone else on this team is so committed to giving him a good truck, and that makes his job a little easier. This first year was supposed to be a learning experience for everyone, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us win a race."
