NASCAR RacePoints, the official rewards program of NASCAR, announced today that it has added NASCAR.COM's NEXTEL TrackPass and RaceDay Scanner interactive applications to their list of participating partners. Beginning August 9th, NEXTEL TrackPass and RaceDay Scanner subscribers who register for the NASCAR RacePoints program on NASCAR.COM will earn points based on their length of subscription. Accumulated racepoints can be tracked and redeemed online for exciting race-related rewards in the exclusive online NASCAR RacePoints catalog. Rewards include once-in-a-lifetime "behind the scenes" experiences, such as becoming a race team member for a day, competing in a NASCAR Speedpark Driver Challenge or over 500 NASCAR products and merchandise.

NASCAR fans can join NASCAR RacePoints and be rewarded for their loyalty to the sponsors of the sport. Currently, Bank of America, Domino's Pizza, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Ford, Goodyear Gemini, NASCAR.COM Superstore, the Official NASCAR Members Club, and Exide, are among the companies issuing NASCAR RacePoints. Fans can also earn points by shopping at over 200 name brand merchants by using the NASCAR RacePoints Online Mall. Additional issuing partners will be announced periodically, and an up-to-date list can always be found on the NASCAR RacePoints website. About NEXTEL TrackPass and RaceDay Scanner
NASCAR.COM's NEXTEL TrackPass is a paid content service that provides fans live track coverage of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and NASCAR Busch Series events, in-car audio of top NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers for every race and exclusive multimedia features. The RaceDay Scanner shares the same functionality as the popular "In-Car Audio" feature of the Emmy Award-winning NEXTEL TrackPass, providing fans with their choice of live race day audio, from any available driver during NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races.
